A lot of my friends called me J in college. Then that turned into JMae, bringing my middle name in. Then when I started shooting weddings my friends started calling me JMae Films, so I turned it into a business!

To officially book your date, I ask for a deposit and a signed contract to hold your wedding date. I book on a first come first serve basis and only take 26 weddings a year, so if you’re ready to move forward, don’t wait!

It typically takes me 5-8 weeks to get all the editing done.

Short answer, yes. But it must be picked from MUSICBED for copyright purposes, a music licensing platform for artists. Even Netflix, hulu, and ABC use it so know you’re in good hands when it comes to quality! Picking music is also a huge part of my creative process, so don’t feel pressured to have something picked out! I am a sound engineer in addition to videographer, the music is almost as important to me as the video.
